A skilled business leader, Erwin Cablayan held the position as the CEO of VetRest. A nonprofit organization in concert with the efforts of its founder Major General Daniel York in assisting veterans suffering from the effects of PTSD while devoting his time and leadership as CFO and CEO for several health care units . In the latter role, he oversees all health services operations at the San Diego-based company. This involves restructuring the organization to manage best practices of the delivery of care while promoting optimum healthcare options. Erwin Cablayan also spearheaded the acquisition of five long-term care facilities in Riverside, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Denver counties.
In addition to these positions, Mr. Cablayan serves as the health care director of East Asian operations for First Cause, a nonprofit organization that promotes leadership development and innovation throughout East Asia. Mr. Cablayan is hoping to devote his full time effort on this non profit position.
Prior to his current roles, Mr. Cablayan served as a board chair, CEO, and CFO in various healthcare organization for more than three decades. During this time, he established a reputation for exceeding profit and revenue goals, optimizing operations management, and providing direct patient care excellent leadership. He worked for entities such as Boeing Corporation as a Senior Systems analyst , and Rohr Industries as a Senior Manufacturing Systems Analyst in California.
To inform his work in the field, Mr. Cablayan studied gerontology at the University of Southern California and holds a master’s in healthcare administration from Seton Hall University graduating as a member of the Epsilon Phi Delta Honors Society.. He is also a licensed nursing home preceptor and LNHA.
